Ingredients

1 Stick (1/2 cup) Butter, at room temperature

1/2 Cup Brown Sugar

1/4 Cup Sugar

1 Egg

1 Teaspoon Vanilla

1 Cups and 1 Tablespoon of Flour

1/2 Teaspoon Baking Soda
-
1/4 Teaspoon Salt

1 Cup Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips
-
1/4 Cup M&Ms (ideally fall colors)

Tube of Frosting for Spiderweb
- Plastic spiders (optional)
Directions
Preheat oven to 375º. Spray 9” Round Baking Pan.
Cream the butter and sugars in a large bowl. Add eggs and mix to combine. Add vanilla and mix well.
- Add dry ingredients, and stir until incorporated. Mix in chocolate chips.
Add M&M's to top for a pop of color.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes.
- Cool and remove from pan if desired. Use icing to pipe on spiderweb design (create a cross, then diagonal lines, and connect the lines). Add plastic spiders for effect if desired, but remove before serving.
- Slice and serve.
